I'm so happy you are here! Here is a little bit about me:
I started my photography business when I was 17 years old, so we are 8 years in now! What started as a creative high school outlet has become a passion and career.
The way I view my job and art have shifted and evolved over the last eight years. You could say my photography and the lens in which I view it has grown up with me. The passion and love for composition and lighting and real connection with my clients has always been there, but perhaps what has come along over the years is a confidence, a sophistication, an ability to step outside of the pressure of social media or whatever it is and create for my clients something that is real and comfortable and beautiful and truly reflective of who you are and how loved you felt in a given moment.
2025 was a big year for me, to say the least. I was about 8 months into living my Colorado dream, having moved there on my own, when my now husband, Nick, came into the picture. A long distance set up with an Air Force guy turned into the greatest whirlwind of a year and dream come true. Set up, engaged, and married all in 2025. My faith and relationship with God are the most important thing in my life, and this was a year of many answered prayers.
Being a bride after shooting weddings as a single girl for 6 years further changed and challenged the way I think about my work and what really matters on a wedding day. In an industry that can be incredibly materialistic and with social media offering a constant opportunity to compare, I want you to know that what truly makes your wedding day special is you and your loved ones. Everything else is fun and exciting, but just extra.
I have frequently been told that I am a calming presence on a wedding day. I am here to guide you, to be your friend, and to help your photo experience go as smoothly as possible while focusing on what truly matters.
Next up in this crazy adventure is a cross country move to New Hampshire! Whether you are reading this to inquire about working with me, or just following along, I'm so honored that you are here.
